Network T-Shirt
The Brutal Garment's “Network T-Shirt” presents itself as the first piece in the “Empty Hallway” collection. The shirt parallels early to mid-2000s activewear.
Combining those aesthetics with modern silhouettes was a great inspiration behind this collection. The shirt features a current-day boxy silhouette and exposed seams. The raglan cut shirt also has an asymmetrical hem to complement the asymmetrical seams of the garment.
Another inspiration behind the collection includes absurd and surreal situations and places. Places and spaces that make you feel as if you were dreaming like something is slightly off. Constant gray expansion in the west. Many of the uninspired “cookie-cutter” architecture breeds within the modern day.
This collection combines the two aesthetics within the branding and the actual garments themselves.

Muted Track Pants
The Brutal Garment's “Muted Track Pants” was inspired by many things. The “Empty Hallway” collection looked towards the early 2000s and to mid-2000s activewear as a main source of inspiration.
I wanted to combine modern silhouettes with those activewear attributes. The exposed, asymmetric accentuated, seams exist at the forefront of the garment. The pants have a flared silhouette and long length to make them the centerpiece of any outfit. The pants include two inseam pockets and an elastic waist to adhere to different waist sizes.
The pants have a double hem, so if desired you can extend the length of the pants 1-2 inches by ripping the seam.
Fabric choice felt important in making this collection. The material is a 100% polyester, tricot blend.
